Christmas 2025

Christmas scene with Habbo characters, a small pig, and a Santa picture in the wall, a cozy festive setting

If there’s one thing Habbo has always done right (since the very beginning), it is their Christmas promotions.

You could say that Christmas is the most important holiday for most countries that play Habbo, and of course they wouldn’t forget to include a bit of Christmas spirit back when Trax was a prime of the moment. Proof of that is the release of the unforgettable pack [54] Rudolph's Loops and CD Xmas Magic (Silent Aurora), which is still available for purchase in the catalogue to day.

When you walk around the hotel (especially during the Christmas season), it’s not hard to find rooms with Christmas music that make us feel even more “immersed” in that small digital universe. The Christmas furni, the incomparable music, and friends who we love so much, spending hours-no, days-playing together. All of this left a mark on us and still to this day.

However, after visiting several Christmas-themed rooms across different servers, I noticed something rather curious: the music is VERY similar. Almost all of them contain the pack [54] Rudolph's Loops and [53] Oh Holy Habbo , since their beats match the more “classic” Christmas aesthetic we know from Hollywood movies (that snowy, hot-chocolate-in-the-morning vibe) that we used to see every time December came around. But… who said we need to limit ourselves ONLY to that aesthetic?

Today’s tip is something simple, but apparently something we forgot to consider 17 years ago: mix more packs and think about a possible setting for the music. To put it another way, think about “alternative” Christmases.

You can use the classic [54] Rudolph's Loops as the base of your project. After all, no other pack evokes the Christmas spirit quite like it. But hold on… Even though this tip may sound silly, it can bring a lot of originality. Here’s a list of possibilities you can consider before building your work of art, let’s go!

1. Spooky Christmas

How about mixing Halloween and Christmas into a single track? After all, October and December are almost side by side. Using horror packs such as [23] Nature Nightlife , [42] Snouthill Horror , [43] Silence Of The Moderators , [44] Ghost Story , and [5] Dark Skies can help you build this song. Completely opposite to the classic calm and cheerful Christmas idea, this one is perfect for the emo and goth crowd! Here’s a small preview of how it could sound:

2. Family Christmas

What if we think in terms of atmosphere? How about a Christmas dinner? Using the packs [7] Furni Sounds 1 and [6] Ambiences you can find some interesting beats. However, don’t limit yourself to the obvious. For example, in the pack [69] Madball Trax 2 (which is a football pack), you can find sounds of people talking together and even something similar to cutlery clinking and bottles being opened. The idea here is to really know all the packs and understand that even if the main theme doesn’t deliver what you initially expect, it can still contribute to your song’s concept, even if it’s just one or two beats. Take a listen:

The track starts with a regular home atmosphere: people chatting, a dog barking, bottles opening. Then the voices in sync draw attention to the arrival of midnight (and consequently Christmas). They turn on the radio, and the Christmas music begins. At the same time, the voices return as if people were greeting each other. 3. Sunny Christmas

Another thing I’ve always thought about is that half of the world doesn’t even know what snow is. That means half of the world is actually VERY FAR from the idea of cold weather during Christmas. In fact, it’s the opposite: Christmas is one of the hottest times of the year. So how about bringing a more tropical vibe to your sound? Tiki packs [65] Tiki Trax Pack 1 , [66] Tiki Trax Pack 2 , and [67] Tiki Trax Pack 3 can help you with that:

4. Christmas Orchestra

Okay, maybe this one is a bit cliché, I admit it, but… what’s wrong with that? As long as it’s made with care, it counts! You can use the packs [30] Sound set 30 , [32] Sound set 32 , and the magnificent [70] Madball Trax 3 to make your Christmas much deeper and more melodic. How about that?
