In a fresh twist for Valentine’s Day, Origins has just launched an all-new Trax Mixdown competition that goes beyond the usual beat-making. This edition challenges you not only to compose an in-game Trax song but also to record yourself singing over it. The objective? To get Cupid’s attention with your charm and creativity!

Valentine’s is on the way, Habbos! You may have already noticed - Valentines Trax Sets have been added to the Trax section of the Catalogue. To mark the occasion and offer another chance to win our coveted Mixdown plaques, Origins is hosting a unique, dual-layer competition. Here’s the lowdown:
- Double Challenge: Compose a Trax song using any Trax Sets in-game, then record yourself singing over your creation. This isn’t just about beats - it’s about bringing your lyrics and vocal flair to the forefront!
- Objective: Impress Cupid with your performance. Whether you’re aiming for humor, clever wordplay, or a heartwarming tune, your mission is to make him (and us) take notice.

It’s that time of year when Cupid works overtime. If you want his help in finding that perfect e-date, you’ll need to get extra creative. Here are the key details of the challenge:
- Song Composition: Use a Trax Machine to compose your song in-game. You’re free to use any Trax Set - there’s no requirement to stick solely to the Valentines Trax collection.
- Vocal Recording: Record yourself singing over your Trax composition. This is your chance to shine with original lyrics!
- Originality: Do not use lyrics from existing songs. Let your imagination and Habbo lore inspire you.
- AI Assistance: AI services are welcome for writing and singing your lyrics, so long as your final submission is uniquely yours.
- Duration: Your complete track (composition plus vocals) must be no longer than 30 seconds.

Entries will be evaluated based on:
- Lyrics: How smart, clever, and funny your lyrics are - aim to make Cupid (and us) laugh.
- Habbo References: Inclusion of Habbo lore or references that resonate with the Origins community.
- Production Quality: Overall quality of both your Trax composition and vocal performance.
— How to Submit Your Entry
When your track is ready:
- Record Your Performance: Use any suitable software to capture both your Trax song and your vocal performance.
- Upload Your File: Post your file on a platform that allows instant playback (such as X or Soundcloud) without requiring viewers to log in.
- Submit via Google Form: Provide the link to your recording along with your avatar name in the designated Google Form. All submissions must be in by 8am GMT (00:00 PST) on February 17.
